its the weekend!
Saturday
We woke up early to jog, I really don't like waking up early on weekends but my sister insisted. I think it's good for my health since I don't walk/jog that much. The place is good, I saw a lot of athletes and other people jogging, and I saw rainbow twice since it's sunny but raining very lightly (English is not my first language I'm so sorry, umaambon). We we got home, I ate sopas for breakfast.
In the afternoon, we went on my friends' place with my mother and churchmates for Bible Study. On our way home, we went to thrift shop and I bought many plushies, including Hachiware and Usagi. I also got Moomin and Rilakkuma. It's so tiring to find a good treasure in a mountain full of plushies with strangers competing for it, my arms ached. I'm just sad that I haven't found Chiikawa since I found its two friends but I hope I get my hands on it someday. I think I'm good at manifesting so I'll just think about it 24/7.
Sunday
In the morning, we went to church. I really liked the cardigan that I wore because it's so perfect for the cold weather when we go to Tagaytay in the afternoon; we were planning to go to Tagaytay after lunch. We had lunch at the church so we don't have to go home. But because of change of plans, I didn't go with them. Instead, after lunch, I went home for a moment to change clothes to fit the hot weather in my town, and I went to my boyfriend's house because their family is going through something.
At their house, we went through their photo albums and I played with his young niece and nephew, and we talked with his mother for a bit. We also went through their photo albums. His mother is so beautiful in her wedding photos, and my boyfriend is sooo cute in his baby photos. He's so chubby and fluffy. It looks like he drink milk well.
After that, my boyfriend and I went out to eat kwek kwek, we had two plastic cups each (with 5 kwek kwek inside). Then we went to 711 to eat soft serve ice cream in a cone. Then we went to Dali to buy chips.
And then we went to another place with his family. While we're at the car, my boyfriend joked that I had 5 cups of kwek kwek, but his niece believed it. She said, "ang takaw mo naman tita Pau." Girl, I wish. I actually wish I could eat that much.
In the evening, before we went back to their house, we went to Jollibee, I ate spicy chicken and fries.
On the way back at their house, on their family's pickup car, my boyfriend and I decided to ride in the back and stand up while the car is moving (I decided to do that, my boyfriend just agreed with me). I said, "...just like in Limousine" because I've watched movies where they do that.
Me: Have you tried doing this before?
BF: Yes.
Me: On Limousine?
BF: No, in this car. We have this car for a long time now.
Me: Wow, you have a happy childhood.
It's a good and a very enjoyable experience. It's the highlight of my day. The car was moving too fast and our face are getting slapped by the strong wind but I cannot stop laughing, and I feel like I'm riding an extreme ride at an amusement park. My body trembled after, I'm not sure if it's because of the cold or adrenaline rush. And then I went home right away.
I'm sad everytime the weekend is over. I know it's a privilege to work and I'm fairly happy at my work, but who actually wants to be stressed? And who would not want an extra rest (except toddlers)?
I hope you had a great weekend! And I hope you'll have a great week ahead.
Regards,
Pauline
